Covid-19 Event Planning
Due to the rising Covid numbers, and out of a desire to keep Siena students and pro staff safe and healthy, there have been a few updates to how to create an event, and have it okayed.
- Every event must have a risk management form (under 'Resources' on the 'Student Organizations' tab) filled out and sent to Cindy Birdwell. You don't have to fill out the vehicle part, since they aren't being used at this time. However, the last question needs to be wholly answered, including how you will take precautions against the spread of Covid-19 (including sanitization, ensuring social distancing, and mask wearing).
- After the form is sent to Cindy, and you have answered any questions she has, she will bring it before the Covid task force, where they will review it, and decided whether or not to approve your event.
- If approved by the task force, it will be forwarded to Sharese Mathis, who will be the final check before you can go forward with your event or not.
- Every single event must have a sign-in sheet to be used in case we need to contact trace. There are a couple of options to do this: first, create a QR code, and link it to a Google form. Information needed is legal name, school email, and personal phone number. Sign-up info must be available electronically, so if you have a physical sign-up, each person must use their own writing utensil, or you have to sanitize between each use, and then a member of your eboard must type up the information.
